From private transport by water taxi from the Port of Kosta  as well as in-room services like private dining, spa & wellness treatments and fitness sessions to wine tasting, cooking lessons at the Bostani, the Poseidonion Grand Hotel’s organic farm, experiential seminars, horse riding, cycling, hiking and excursions to the island’s beaches, even trips to nearby destinations by yacht, this summer will be filled with once-in-a-lifetime moments.


Welcoming Alexandros Papanikolaou as the new General Manager


The Poseidonion Grand Hotel is welcoming Alexandros Papanikolaou as General Manager. After studying at the Institute of Hotel Management and Tourism in Switzerland, Mr Papanikolaou acquired 25 years of managerial experience at multinational organisations (Hilton, Village Roadshow, Audiovisual S.A.) with responsibilities in the areas of commercial development, operational management and business optimisation.


In light of his collaboration with the Poseidonion Grand Hotel, Mr Papanikolaou stated characteristically: “It is with great pleasure that I take over the position of General Manager of such a historic hotel, which has been a beacon of Greek hospitality for more than a century now. We will continue to faithfully serve the vision and values ​​of our hotel's founder, which have made the Poseidonion Grand Hotel a favourite destination for visitors from all over the world ever since the era of its rebirth”.


Unique gastronomic experiences, curated by Olivier Campanha


For yet another summer the Poseidonion Grand Hotel has an unparalleled journey of flavour in store, led by accoladed French chef Olivier Campagna, who is now at the helm of all the emblematic Spetses hotel’s restaurants.


The Poseidonion Grand Hotel’s new Head Chef will be developing the hotel’s gastronomic philosophy by offering his personal culinary character to the menus of the Library Brasserie and the Bostani, already beloved destinations for visitors to the island. With more than 20 years of experience at top, multi-awarded restaurants in his arsenal, Olivier Campanha’s career includes 2 Michelin Starred La Tour D’Argent, 3 Michelin Starred Pierre Gagnaire in Paris as well as Michelin Starred Sketch in London.


With a focus on pure, regional ingredients from the Poseidonion Grand Hotel’s Organic Farm “Bostani”,  grown by the island’s local producers and sourced from the wider region of the Argolic coast, and inspired by the roots of Greek and Mediterranean cuisine, Olivier Campanha combines local tradition with French techniques to create delicious dishes bursting with flavour. The updated Library Brasserie menu will be dedicated to Greek cuisine with some elements from the wider Mediterranean, whilst at the Bostani, the visitors can enjoy a holistic farm-to-table experience in a verdant environment blooming with the beauty of Spetses. Olivier Campanha will also be curating the menu for Paradise Beach, which is located at Agia Marina to offer amazing flavours by the sea.


Summer nights at Palms Bar with Baba Au Rum


Summer nights on Spetses will be dedicated to unforgettable moments under the starry sky, accompanied by signature cocktails and spirits from a list curated by Thanos Prunarus, as well as the Baba Au Rum team. One of the most beloved bars in Athens and one of “The World’s 50 Best Bars”, Baba Au Rum continues its successful partnership with the Poseidonion Grand Hotel by welcoming fine drinking aficionados to the Palms Bar on Spetses.

Continuing a legacy of more than 100 years in providing amazing moments for its guests, the Poseidonion Grand Hotel offers tailor-made event & catering services for a variety of professional and social events.
